Greenco new brand with Cooperative DOOR06/01/2016
Greenco joins DOOR. By doing so, Greenco became the sixth brand, next to Prominent, Purple Pride, Green Diamonds, SweetPoint and PapriCo. Greenco makes this move to further the brand strategy of Tommies.
Greenco joins DOOR because the strategy of DOOR supports the brand strategy of Greenco. Members of Greenco can retain and expand their brand identity whilst under DOOR’s flag. On top of that, DOOR offers a platform to share experiences and knowledge among the different brands. This enlarges the decisiveness of the Greenco brands. It also contributes to further structuralize the Dutch horticulture.
This step has no consequences for the current customer relations of Greenco. Product availability for the customers of The Greenery is secured. The relation with The Greenery remains unaltered and is important to fulfil the wishes of our customers. “We also look how we can jointly reinforce our relations and secure them for the future” according to Auke Smit, manager of Greenco.
DOOR and Greenco are happy with the collaboration. It fits into the new line of thinking that the Dutch horticulture should join forces. It’s a step in the right direction to reinforce the Dutch decisiveness within the sector. “Cooperation achieves more than fragmentation”, according to Jan Opschoor, director of DOOR.
